From a young age Canadian born award-winning Huntsville, Ontario Canada Wildlife & Pet Pawtrait Fine Artist Jeannette Hay has been captivated by Nature and the Animal Kingdom. “I have always loved to paint animals, and the natural environment. I find it energies and inspires me to collaborate more with Mother Nature. My newest way I do this is in my Fine Art Paintings on these unique Muskoka Ontario rocks. “


Jeannette was born in Montreal Canada and was later raised and educated in England. She now lives in Huntsville, in the district of Muskoka, Ontario Canada. She studied Fine Arts in England and later Graphic Design at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario Canada. She has worked as an entrepreneurial artist ever since.


Her award-winning artwork has been published on the cover of Canadian Arabian (horse) News magazine, various CD covers and book covers. She won the Toronto Library competition receiving a medallion from the Mayor of East York, (a borough of Toronto, Ontario) for Outstanding Artistic Achievement. Her original Wildlife paintings and Pet Pawtrait work can be found in various private collections both in Europe, Canada and the USA.


Jeannette has said, “My intention is to create a feeling of connection between my audience and the animals I depict. I do this with the hope of making these animals more appealing to people so they will increase their efforts to help safeguard and improve Mother Nature’s natural environments.”
